Unwritten melody

Moments I care to recall, some not at all .

bitter sweet is a memory for me

like a bittersweet melody it was lost within in me ..

Within me a song to sing

A memory of who he was to me.

Losing someone is hard enough, but living without them is like a living tomb within the soul forever marked by the moment. Never fully healing, but rather reliving day by day . 

I Am Free

In my dreams I’ve flown miles

Went through valleys of beautiful flowers

Seen wild animals up close and personal

All the things I’ve always wanted to do

It’s when I wake I find my smile

The tears of all those places

Coming back down to me

Like a cloud I was free

They ask me why

I’m smiling

Why the tears won’t stop coming

Is it pain

Is it fear

I just smile

If only they knew the wonders I’ve seen

The adventures I’ve had

All while sick in this bed

While I dream

I am free

No longer sick

Not a single thing out of control

I fly with my wings of color

They make rays of bright blues and shimmery pinks

In my dreams

I am free

A Fearful Soul

I wanted to blink it away.
tell myself to wake up…
That this hell was all but a nightmare

                                   But it’s not..

    And that is what frightens me.
